Trainees learn the basics of how a restaurant operates. You might learn on the job under the direction of a manager or a senior staff. Training covers topics such as company policies, food preparation, customer relations, financial reporting, quality control and team-building. Restaurant trainees also learn procedures for opening and closing the restaurant. This may include balancing cash drawers, taking inventory, prepping and storing food, and sanitizing cooking equipment.

Requirements:

  • Shift Work (including Sundays and PHs)
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Diploma and above
  • Only for Singaporean
